Sarah MacGillis started working of counsel with Matonich Law in 2018, bringing a well-earned reputation for meticulous legal research and writing skills. Sarah’s attention to detail provides a strong foundation for writing and arguing the important motions that Matonich Law brings before judges in medical malpractice cases.
Sarah is a passionate and skilled trial lawyer who brings hard work, dedication, and genuine enthusiasm to fight for the best possible outcomes for her clients. She has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine every year from 2011-2018, an honor bestowed upon less than 5 percent of all lawyers within the state of Minnesota. Prior to that, she was named a “Rising Star” multiple years by that same publication.
Sarah was an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School from 2003-2007 and at Hamline University School of Law from 2001-2003. She sat on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers from 2004-2008 and for the Innocence Project of Minnesota from 2001-2004.
